Veronica Nogrady - Guest Faculty

Veronica Nogrady

Veronica Nogrady began her dance training in the Hudson Valley at Powers Dance Art Center. She has had extensive Russian training from the late Mme. Seda Sorvillo and studied with Tom Adair (former ABT and Ballet Russe member). She is a graduate of The School of the Hartford Ballet, where she received her certification in Dance Education. While in Hartford, Ms. Nogrady was a member of the Hartford Ballet’s Junior Company and was a guest artist with the Simsbury Light Opera Company. She was a principle dancer with both The Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre and The Georgia Ballet. Ms. Nogrady’s teaching experience spans more than 25 years. She was on faculty at both the Georgia Ballet and Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre. Most recently she has taught throughout the Hudson Valley, including Step By Step and Orange County Ballet Theatre. She is also a choreographer for Goshen High School’s Musicals, since 2006. Ms. Nogrady has presented choreographic works for Orange County Ballet Theatre, Orange County Arts Dance Celebration and through the New York Performing Arts Educators and Step It Up. Her works have appeared at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Olympic Dance Festival 2012 in London and most recently at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.
